Withdrawal of Birmingham (BHX) service from 25 March
We regret to inform you that the airline service from Oxford to Warwick, Warwick University, Birmingham Airport and Resorts World will be ceasing to operate at the end of service on Saturday, March 25th.
Despite a number of marketing initiatives and the support of many partners, the service has not carried enough passengers to cover its costs of operation and this has resulted in an unsustainable loss for our business. We have also looked at a number of possible options to retain the service, but have unfortunately come to the conclusion that these are not financially viable for us and so were left but with no option but to take the difficult decision to withdraw the service.
It is appreciated that once the service ends, you may be in possession of multi-trip and period pass tickets that have not been fully used. To arrange for a refund of these, please send your ticket to:
Oxford Bus Company
Oxford OX4 6BR
or alternatively, for smartcard or app based tickets, email
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support for the service and are sorry that together we weren't able to make this route the success we all wanted it to be. If you would like any further information on the termination of this service, please email our Express Coach Services Manager Shaun Ritchie on
