Unfortunately, due to the current conditions related to COVID-19, the launch of the X50 airline service between High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Heathrow Airport will be delayed until 31st August 2020 or until coach services can return to operating as normal. Further updates will be posted on our website as soon as possible. We remain very committed to the X50 project and are looking forward to beginning the service when conditions return to normal.

The X50 airline will be taking you directly to Heathrow Airport from High Wycombe and Maidenhead. This service will operate to and from Heathrow Terminal 5, the Compass Centre (on request only) and Central Bus Station. Please see the timetable and fares list below for details.


Timetables

The arrival times provided on these timetables are estimates and can be affected by traffic. Please allow sufficient time between coach arrival and flight check in time - we recommend 1 hour.

Average travel times (subject to traffic conditions):

  • High Wycombe Bus Station to Heathrow Terminal 5 - 60 mins
  • High Wycombe Bus Station to Heathrow Central Bus Station - 75 mins
  • Maidenhead Rail Station to Heathrow Terminal 5 - 25 mins
  • Maidenhead Rail Station to Heathrow Central Bus Station - 40 mins

The period return and group return tickets will give you the flexibility to make your return journey within 3 months. Children are defined as 5-15 years old. Group return tickets will be valid for up to 4 people (must include at least one adult). 12-trip tickets will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and available on our app and on bus.

Time-based Products

These tickets will be available on our app and on bus. Period passes from High Wycombe ("Zone A/B/C Flyer") also include travel on all Carousel Buses local services within Carousel zones A/B/C for the duration of the pass. Period passes from Maidenhead ("Zone B/C Flyer") also include travel on all Carousel Buses local services within Carousel zones B and C for the duration of the pass.

Need to travel into High Wycombe to catch the airline?

With the airline flyer ticket, your local bus journey will be FREE! This means that one ticket will cover your entire journey from your nearest convenient Carousel bus stop, all the way through to the airline bus stop and on to Heathrow Airport. Heathrow commuters

Commute to Heathrow from High Wycombe or Maidenhead? Using Terminals 2 or 3? Central Bus Station is a short walk from Terminals 2 & 3. Lifts, escalators and moving walkways are available to help with the journey. 

Using Terminal 4? A free bus transfer to Terminal 4 leaves from bus stand 7 at Terminal 5.

Using Terminal 5? Our airline coach will leave from stand 10 at the arrivals concourse to take you to Maidenhead and High Wycombe.

Chiltern Hundreds 102

Chiltern Hundreds 102 service operates between High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross and Heathrow Airport. Operated by Carousel Buses, the luxurious 102 coaches run up to every hour, doubling the frequency of services between High Wycombe to Heathrow.
